Mission Statement
The Entertainment Resource Professionals Association (ERPA) is a collaborative of independent organizations and individuals who work to inspire cause-specific story ideas within entertainment media, and to provide accuarate and unbiased public health information to members of television, film and video game industries. ERPA's primary purpose is to serve as a support system and resource for its participants working in this new and growing field, which we call Entertainment Outreach. ERPA members gather monthly in the Los Angeles area to ensure regular networking opporunities. The organization also hosts a listserv for ongoing information sharing.
Who We Are
ERPA is interested in entertainment media and how media affects society. ERPA participants hail from academia, government and both the commercial and nonprofit sectors. Members can be educators, researchers, publiic health officials, public relations professionals, writers, journalists, publicists, advertisers and media professionals, among others.
On this Web site, you will find a list of health and social issues arranged by topic. Under each topic will find names and contact information for individuals who will help put you in contact with the most current research and experts for free.
